Here we are again. New year, new resolutions, new hopes. Unbelievable, huh?

A time to reflect back on 2016 and decide on what you want to manifest in 2017. This is all great as I believe that knowing what you want is the first step in achieving it.

I’ve done it so many times: being grateful for all the nice things that have happened the year before, setting new intentions and goals for the new year, feeling really energized and motivated but more than enough times I found myself at the end of the year without reaching maybe even half of my goals. At some point I even stopped setting new goals. That didn’t work either.

So what worked? What was the single most important thing that I’ve adopted that has helped me reach my goals?

It was FINDING SUPPORT.

Let’s be honest. We live in a world that is super fast-paced, where we are bombarded with information all day long, where we have stressful jobs or businesses, maybe a husband/or a wife and kids that need our attention. Then there’s the pressure of eating healthy, doing sports, connect with friends and so much more. It’s a lot to deal with.

So whatever your goals for 2017 are (if they’re big enough) you probably don’t have all they information, skills, relationships, mindset and motivation that you need in order to achieve them (cause otherwise you’d have probably achieved them by now, right?). So finding support (either in the form of a mentor, a consultant, a coach, books, training courses, or other type of support) is crucial and there’s nothing shameful about it. There’s no prize or no bigger glory for figuring out everything all by yourself.

2. What are the biggest challenges that I need to overcome to reach my goals?
3. What new skills do I need to acquire in order to achieve each of my goals?
4. What relationships do I need to develop (or strengthen) to reach my goals and with who?
5. What mindset and emotional transformations need to occur in me to get closer to reaching my goals?

Take some time to reflect upon these questions. Maybe even right your answers down on paper.
